DAY 01: NJP
RLY. STN. / IXB AIRPORT – GANGTOK
On arrival at njp
railway station / ixb airport welcome to our representative & transfer to
gangtok check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at
gangtok
DAY 02: Gangtok
(Trip To Tsomgo Lake + Baba Mandir) (Nathula Pass Optional)
This morning start for
a half day trip to tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32kms from gangtok
city, the lake is almost about 1km long and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is
considered sacred by the local people, further 12kms visit the baba harvajan
singh mandir. Evening free at gangtok for shopping and individual activity.
Night halt at gangtok.
DAY 03: Gangtok
to Lachen
After breakfast pick
up from hotel & transfer to lachen (9,800 ft.). Enroute visit singhik view
point, seven sister water fall, naga water fall, and arrive lachen by evening.
Dinner at hotel. O/n at lachen.
DAY 04: Lachen
– Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung
Early morning drive to
chopta valley (13,200 ft.) & Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft.). Back to hotel
& after lunch transfer to lachung (8,800 ft). Arrive lachung by evening. O/n
at lachung.
DAY 05: Lachung
– Yumthang Valley Excursion- Gangtok
After breakfast
proceed to yumthang valley (11,800 ft. Known as valley of flowers). On the way
back, visit hot spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to
resort.after lunch transfer you to gangtok.. On arrival at gangtok check-in to
your hotel. O/n at gangtok
DAY 06: Gangtok
Half Day Covering To Darjeeling
This morning after
breakfast visit, flower show, directorate of handicraft & handloom (closed
on sunday), dro-dul chorten, bakthang falls, gunjamonastery.afternoontransfer
to darjeeling.night halt at darjeeling.
DAY 07: Darjeeling
Local Sightseeing
Early morning at 4.00
am visit tiger hill (sunrise point over mt. Khanchendzongna), on the way back
visit. After breakfast half day city tour covering himalayan mountaineering
institute, p.n. Zoological park (closed on thursday) tenzing rock, tibetan
refugee centre (closed on sunday), tea garden (outer view), and japanese
temple. Afternoon enjoy local town of darjeeling. Night halt at darjeeling.
DAY 08: Darjeeling-Njp/
Bagdogra Airport
Early morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to njp/ airport for onwards journey.
