Chennai-Tirupati-Mahabalipuram-Tanjore-Rameswaram-Madurai-Trichi

Day 1: Chennai

After reaching Chennai, meet tour representatives and move ahead to the hotel. Freshen up and get set to enjoy a tour of the city. Visit places like Kabalishwara Temple, Santhome Church, St. George Fort, and Madras (Chennai) Museum.

Return to hotel.Overnight stay at Chennai.

Day 02: Chennai- Tirupati

Have breakfast and visit the famous temple of Lord Venkateshwara on top of Tirumala hills. The temple is believed to be the most ancient temple in the country and is richest too. Have lunch at local restaurant in Tirupati.

After lunch drive back to Chennai.

Overnight stay at Chennai.

Day 3: Tirupati – Mahabalipuram

Have Breakfast. Check out of the hotel and drive to Mahabalipuram. Check into the hotel in Mahabalipuram and rest for an hour. Enjoy sightseeing.  Arjuna’s Penance, Five Rathas, Shore Temple, Tiger Cave and Krishna’s Butter Ball are major spots of tourist attraction in the town.

Bustle on the streets and return to hotel.Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.

Day 4: Mahabalipuram- Tanjore

After breakfast drive to  Tanjore. On arrival check in at hotel. Tanjore is the "Rice bowl of Tamil Nadu" and famous for the Brihadeeswarar Temple. The temple was constructed more than thousand years ago by the King Rajarajan, is an architect's marvel. It's a flourishing centre for bronze sculpture and painting.Evening city tour of Tanjore.Visit the famous Brihadeeswara Temple which has gopurams over 90 ft. (27 m) high and are exquisitely sculpted & the Saraswati library.

Day 5: Tanjore-Rameswaram

After breakfast drive to Rameswaram.On arrival check-in at hotel.

It is one of the most important pilgrim centre of the Indians. It is from Rameshwaram where Lord  Rama, built a bridge across the sea to save his wife Sita, from her abductor, Ravana.

It is here only, where Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to cleanse away the sin of killing Ravana.

Day 6: Rameswaram- Madurai

After breakfast drive to MADURAI. On arrival check-in at hotel.

In evening visit to the renowned Meenakshi Temple and the Palace of Thirumalai Nayak, the most famous king of the Nayak dynasty. It has a great audience hall, a three-sided pavilion and a courtyard.

The evening “Aarti” is a must attend for all visitors. The other half of Goddess Durga – Shiva, is brought to her chamber in procession.

The procession goes around the temple, and several short ceremonies at different shrines takes place before the final prayer at the entrance of the chamber. The whole ceremony takes around 45 minutes.

Day 7: Madurai-Trichy

Enjoy breakfast. Drive ahead to Trichy. On arrival check-in at hotel.

Trichy is situated on the banks of river Cauvery, and is one of the most famous temple towns in south India. The town is famous for rich culture and marvelous architectural heritage. Visit Rock Frt a 83 mt high rock fort in the center of the city.

It takes 344 rock-cut steps to reach Uchipillayar temple dedicated to Lord Vinayaka. Half way up is the temple of Lord Shiva dedicated to Thayumanaswamy.

Jambukeshwara Temple here has Shiva lingam almost submerged in water.

Visit the spectacular temple architecture near Trichy at Srirangam. Set on an island in the Cauvery River within seven concentric walled Courtyards, the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is one of the largest complexes in India.

Day 08: Departure from Trichy

Breakfast followed by check out from the hotel.You will be driven back to Trichy Airport with wonderful memories of our Package.
